Prayer Requests

July 2010

Week 1: July 1 – 7

■  Ebenezer Creole Church celebrated its one year anniversary Sunday, July 20.  We thank God for using this church to reach out to many in Villa Central. 

■  Please pray for the Mission Possible teachers and students in Haiti as they continue the school year through the summer, due to many missed days after the earthquake in January.  May God grant them endurance in these hot months. 

Week 2: July 8 – 14

■  Mission Possible was blessed with the opportunity to send 2 youth group mission teams from Ohio to Dominican Republic and Haiti last month.  We pray God will continue to water and grow the seeds planted in the hearts of each young person, equipping them to serve more effectively.

■  Please pray for Ebenezer students and staff through their summer vacation, as many travel to visit family in other parts of the country. 

■  Ebenezer Creole Church in the Dominican Republic is still in need of a larger, more spacious building to meet.  God has faithfully

provided up until now and we trust He will continue to meet the needs of His church.

Week 3: July 15 – 21

■  Ebenezer School in the Dominican Republic is constructing a new building in order to provide more space and to comply with the new law, requiring all Preschool and Kindergarten classes to be on the first floor.  We thank God for providing land and pray it will be ready for when school starts this fall.

■  We thank God for the mission team that served in Haiti through Mission Possible last month.  This team from St John Mennonite Church in Ohio conducted many eye clinics and painted many roofs.

Week 4: July 22 – 31

■  A group from Gateway Church in Ohio served in the Dominican Republic for a week last month by beginning the construction process for the new addition to Ebenezer School and painting the 4th floor in the original building.  We thank God for their hard work and willingness to serve. 

■  More Mission Possible partners are struggling financially.  Please join us in praying for God’s intervention and provision in their circumstances.  We also pray the Lord will continue to provide for Mission Possible finances as the ministry continues to grow and expand.
