In the community of Barahona, Dominican Republic, we are proud to partner with Pastor Moise, a dedicated leader who has been an integral part of the Mission Possible family for over 35 years. Pastor Moise's passion for education shines through the initiatives offered at their local school, while his commitment to discipleship and church planting further enriches the lives of those he serves. Together with his dedicated team, he recognizes the profound importance of sharing the Gospel across nations, ministering to both Dominicans and Haitians. Our ministry opportunities in Barahona are diverse and impactful, including evangelism, construction projects, school programs, teacher seminars, and medical clinics. We proudly collaborate with two remarkable ministry partners in Choluteca, Honduras: Total Health (Salud Total) and Iglesia Gran Comisión Choluteca. Together, they are making a significant impact in the community. Total Health operates a medical clinic that provides essential healthcare services to numerous individuals each day. In tandem, Iglesia Gran Comisión, led by Pastor Geovany, is deeply committed to identifying and addressing the needs of the community through various initiatives. Their impactful programs include CDI, which supports children facing malnutrition, a tilapia farm, a tortilla factory, an orphanage, and various construction projects—all aimed at uplifting the community. Furthermore, they actively seek opportunities for evangelism, demonstrating their dedication to both physical and spiritual well-being. Honduras is a Central American country with Caribbean Sea coastlines to the north and the Pacific Ocean to the south. Choluteca is located in southern Honduras, between El Salvador and Nicaragua. It is seen as the main hub of the region and a key stop on the Pan-American Highway. It sits on the Choluteca River, with a notable silver bridge crossing into the city. With a population of 99,980 (as of 2023), Choluteca ranks as the seventh largest city in Honduras.
San Jose, Costa Rica: Costa Rica, a stunning Central American nation, blends rugged landscapes and picturesque coastlines. From the Pre-Columbian Gold Museum in San Jose to its renowned beaches and biodiversity, the country captivates with protected jungles and diverse wildlife. Over 90% of Costa Ricans identify as Roman Catholic, but we, in partnership with local churches, share the message of Jesus through initiatives like VBS, supporting refugees, engaging with orphanages, distributing food, organizing sports, and exploring creative avenues for community impact. Join us in spreading hope and love in the vibrant communities of Costa Rica.
Discover the beauty of Puerto Rico, a captivating Caribbean island with mountains, waterfalls, and the El Yunque rainforest. San Juan, its capital, pulsates with energy. Predominantly Hispanic, Spanish is the official language, and the island faces challenges like high unemployment and 45% living in poverty. We partner with churches and missionaries, offering diverse opportunities in children's ministry, evangelism, construction, sports, church planting, orphanages, and aid distribution. Join us in making a difference in Puerto Rico's vibrant communities.
Zambia, Africa: Chingola is a town located in Zambia's Copperbelt Province, known for its copper mining activities. According to the 2010 census, it has a population of 216,626. The town is home to the Nchanga Copper Mine, a significant deep-shaft mining operation that led to the creation of two open pit mines in the 1960s: Chingola Open Pit and Nchanga Open Pit, the latter being the second largest open cast mine globally. Founded in 1943, Chingola is a beautiful city filled with gardens, flowers, clubs, hotels, and stadiums. The African Church Planting Initiative (ACPI) is a project by FEC USA aimed at empowering local leaders to establish reproducible churches globally. In Zambia, ACPI has planted 11 churches, primarily in rural areas. Each day, the team will travel to serve at one of ACPI's churches in the rural parts of Chingola.
